Exploration of different continents to meet health professionals and the public can tell us a lot about where we
are going wrong. I've long thought that the common sense of the lay public sometimes (often!) exceeds that of
research institutes. Although health professionals are usually loathe to accept anecdotal data, I'll bet if they knew
just three people who died whilst taking a certain drug, they would think twice before taking it themself.
The girl in blue that I photographed 'begging' on the streets in Bombay (India section) had a 'happiness' about
her. She was 'free' on the streets...whilst the children in Central Park, New York...roped together they
reminded me more of a chain gang...perhaps this is why so many American children are on antidepressants...
