Dr. Lisa Landymore-Lim teaches children and adults Buteyko to help alleviate asthma symptoms. Clinical studies
have shown that Buteyko reduces the need for asthma medication.
Lisa's first Buteyko student was 7 years old. He had been on steroids for 4 years. In December 2005 his inhaler was increased
from 50mg to 100mg by his regular Paediatrician at the hospital. After just four lessons from May - July 2006, at his next visit
to the hospital (6 monthly intervals), he was so much improved his Paediatrician has approved reduction of his steroids and
dismissed him.
See 'Poisonous Prescriptions - Do Antibiotics Cause Asthma and Diabetes?' for detailed information about how drugs can damage.
This is particularly important for children, as their bodies are immature.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT change your medication without professional advice. You may suffer ADVERSE affects if you do so.
